In what can be termed as a mouth-watering fixture, England will take on Brazil in a friendly tie in the newly build Wembley stadium on June 1. Though, world famous Wembley stadium has recently organized an under 21 match between England and Italy but you can’t compare the magnitude of match between national teams of England and Brazil with a low-key under 21 match. Theoretically speaking, the match will be England’s first at Wembley since a World Cup qualifying defeat to Germany in October 2000.
Talking about the stadium, it has the capacity of a whopping 90,000 people and when the likes of Brazil and England will meet on this stadium (around £757million used in the construction work), you can pretty much imagine the excitement and environment generated by the fans. Apart from this fixture, the FA Cup semi-finals will now be played at Wembley from next season so that lots more people can enjoy the traditional FA Cup fixtures.
